Ask questions, while you are talking to the termite inspector, and discover what their Termite Company will do should termites return after your home is treated. What does their guarantee really cover? It is not as cut and dry as you might think. Some companies will not freely offer their Damage and Retreat Coverage Guarantee unless you ask, so ask!

#1 Damage and Retreatment Coverage
This is the best coverage, but not every home qualifies for this guarantee. Usually all conditions conducive to termite infestation are correctable and will be corrected before or during your termite treatment. Make sure you ask the termite inspector if your home qualifies for this type of coverage with their company.
	Cost more, of course
	If termites return this guarantee will cover fixing the damage done by reinfesting termites and any treatment necessary to stop the termites from coming back.
	Some Termite Company guarantees require you to pay a deductable when you make a claim. Ask!
	Every company has a limit as to how much money they will spend on a per occurrence or per yearly occurrences claim. Find out what that limit is. Ask !
	What good is a $300,000 guarantee on a $150,000 house?
	What good is a $500 guarantee on a $300,000 home?

#2 Retreat Only Guaranty
Most homes qualify for this guarantee, but not all.
	When termites return, your Termite Company will retreat the area, and stop the termites.
	After three occurrences you may want to ask your Termite Company to retreat your home at no charge. Some States require this, but not all.

#3 No Guaranty Guaranty
In the event your structure has too many irreversible conditions conducive to reoccurring termite infestation, and you can't get a guarantee, you will be notified in writing "There is NO GUARRANTEE!
	When termites return, your Termite Company won't do anything for free.

Your guarantee options should be laid out in plain language and in writing before signing up for treatment. Read the contract, ask questions if your not sure about a point. What your Termite Company will do for you should termites return after treatment is not negotiable after the contract is signed or after termites show up again.
